Goalkeeper Coach Frank Juric

Biography

Juric joined the Club ahead of the 2017/18 season as the Reds’ new goalkeeper coach. The former Socceroo possesses a great footballing pedigree, having spent 11 seasons in the German first and second divisions. He moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf from the National Soccer League in 1997, before signing with German giants Bayer Leverkusen two years later. At Leverkusen he served as a reserve goalkeeper behind the likes of Polish international Adam Matysek and then German gloveman Hans-Jörg Butt. However, he still amassed 16 appearances in all competitions during his five years there. Juric was also on the bench in the 2002 UEFA Champions League Final against Real Madrid at Hampden Park. Since retiring in 2009, the ex-Hannover custodian has been a goalkeeper coach at Perth Glory and Melbourne Knights.
