Yared Abetew

Another promising Reds defender, Yared Abetew, made his debut in Round 2 of the A-League 2019/20 season against Melbourne City. Abetew joined United's Youth Team from local NPL side Croydon Kings a few years ago and impressed with the Young Reds while also training with the first team, and ahead of the 2020/21 campaign Abetew, who can play as a full-back, centre-back or holding midfielder, was added to the senior side.
