Vince Lia

Lia arrived to the Reds boasting an abundance of Hyundai A-League experience. The defensive-midfield enforcer adds a steely resolve to the middle of the park, combining his physicality and aggression when screening the back-four. Lia spent the first two years of the Hyundai-League with Melbourne Victory, before joining Wellington Phoenix in 2007. During his time in New Zealand, Lia was a mainstay in the starting XI, accumulating over 200 appearances. He immediately won over the fans after bagging a stunning brace thanks to a pair of long-range strikes against the Victory.
