At 15 years and 320 days, Mohamed Toure became the second youngest player in the Club's history to make their Adelaide United debut when he appeared against Brisbane Roar. A few days later, Toure signed a three-year scholarship and later that week against Central Coast Mariners he scored off the bench to become the youngest ever player to score in the A-League. During his second season, Toure scored three goals in 15 games which included a clinically taken finish to secure a 1-0 Original Rivalry win over Melbourne Victory.
