The Dutch defender arrives to the Reds with plenty of experience under her belt. Maruschka Waldus has played across the globe in her homeland, in addition to the United States, Sweden, Germany, Norway, Iceland, and previously in Australia with Western Sydney Wanderers Women. Her career began at SC Heerenveen, where she amassed more than 60 appearances over three years, and later joined FC Twente. With Twente, the centre-back finished the 2016/17 Eredivisie Women league campaign in second spot and also played in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
