Biography
María José Rojas brings a wealth of experience to Adrian Stenta's squad for the 2020/21 campaign. The Chile international has played in homeland, and abroad including: the United States, Germany, Lithuania, Japan, Czech Republic, and indeed Australia. The 33-year-old winger has 44 caps and scored 11 goals for La Roja. Rojas has been a prolific scorer during her time in the local Women's National Premier League (WNPL), netting 66 goals in 2016 and 2017 with Adelaide University before bagging 27 goals in 18 matches at Salisbury Inter in 2020 to claim the Shirley Brown Medal for the WNPL Player of the Year. Rojas marked her Reds debut with the opening goal against Canberra United in a 4-3 defeat.
