Biography
The Danish journeyman joins the Reds on a one-year deal with an impressive pedigree having plied his trade in a number of countries around the globe. He accumulated over 150 appearances in the Danish Superliga, Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga. Ilsø played for the likes of SønderjyskE and FC Midtjylland in his homeland before moving to Fortuna Düsseldorf and then Vfl Bochum in Germany. The 31-year-old attacker is capable of leading the line in addition to featuring in an attacking midfield role or as a second striker. He enjoyed a prolific goal-scoring spell during his time in Southeast Asia with Home United of Singapore and Malaysian outfit Kedah – netting a total of 61 goals in 85 games.
