Gunny Jónsdóttir

Jónsdóttir will strengthen Adelaide’s midfield with her composure and skill in possession following her arrival to the Club. The 30-year-old, simply known as Gunny, began at Icelandic outfit Stjarnan and then played in Norway for five years until embarking on a new challenge in the United States with National Women’s Soccer League club, Utah Royals FC. Jónsdóttir, who also has excellent leadership qualities, has scored nine times in 58 matches for the Iceland national team.
