Ersan Gülüm

Ersan transferred to the South Australians on a season-long loan from Chinese Super League side Hebei China Fortune and boats first-class pedigree having played and captained at Turkish giants Beşiktaş. The Australian-born Turkish international was with the Black Eagles for six seasons from 2010 to 2016 and accumulated a total of 126 appearances, while winning the Süper Lig and domestic cup. Capped seven times by Turkey, he previously played for fellow Turkish outfit Adanaspor among others. Gülüm’s leadership attributes and unwavering presence in the heart of the defence will help solidify the back-four.
