Biography
Al Hassan Toure made an instant impact since his promotion to the first-team during the Reds' FFA Cup 2019 campaign. The then 19-year-old first caught the attention of Head Coach, Gertjan Verbeek, while playing in the Club's Youth Team where he scored in four consecutive matches. Toure was entrusted to lead the line on his senior debut against Melbourne Knights and opened the scoring with a clinical finish. He netted a total of five goals in as many, including the opener in the FFA Cup 2019 Final with an audacious angled strike in a 4-0 rout and was presented the Mark Viduka Medal. The former Croydon Kings man later signed a contract extension, keeping him at the Reds until the end of the 2022/23 season.
