The Adelaide United Youth Team hosts the Northern Demons, in Round 21 of the NPL State League at the Elite System Football Centre on Saturday afternoon.
The Young Reds are looking to cement back to back victories, after defeating Eastern United last weekend 13-0.
Winger, Antoni Trimboli, says the team is feeling confident heading in the clash and knows that the Northern Demons are a tough outfit to play against.
“As a side we are feeling confident after last weekend’s result against Eastern United,” said Trimboli.
“However, we need to be focused 100% for the whole game as we know how good the Northern Demons are.
“We need to be patient, play the ball, move and hopefully the result will look after itself.”
The Adelaide United Youth Team closed in on league leaders Adelaide Olympic after their win last weekend, with only four points separating the teams on the table.
Trimboli believes that although twenty games have been played, they still have a good chance to challenge and take this league by storm.
“We know we are capable of playing really good football each week, but we need to get points from each game we play to be a contender,” said Trimboli.
“I think we need to just be a bit more consistent and focus on the style in order to improve in the latter part of the season.
“So in today’s match we must remain composed, play our game and most importantly take our chances.
“If we do that, it will go a long way in beating the Northern Demons.”
