The Adelaide United Youth Team travel to take on Playford Patriots, in Round 22 of the NPL State League at Ramsay Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Young Reds are looking for three victories in a row, after dispatching Eastern United 13-0 and Northern Demons 8-0.
Marksman of the Adelaide United Youth Team, Doni Pollock, who has scored seven goals in two games, believes that his team’s ruthlessness in front of goal has seen improved performances in the last couple of weeks.
“We as a team this week at training have been focusing very much on our link play in terms of transition from midfield to defence,” said Pollock.
“Obviously we want to emulate our last few performances tomorrow but in order to do that we need to keep the ball and move the opposition around.
“We have also been focusing on small combinations so that we can attack well and hopefully score goals.”
The Adelaide United Youth Team has raised a few eyebrows over the last two weeks after recording big wins against their oppositions.
However, Doni Pollock believes the side must not get ahead themselves if they truly want to push for top spot.
“It’s easy to get ahead of ourselves but we take each opposition we verse very seriously and have a lot of respect for each side,” said Pollock.
“Michael Valkanis, has told us not be complacent but to continue our ruthlessness to win and score up for the rest of the season.
“So tomorrow it’s important we continue our playing style and hopefully can upstage another side who has improved a lot over the season in Playford.”
The Young Reds currently sit third on the ladder, two points adrift of Cumberland United who sit top of the NPL State League ladder.
