The Adelaide United Youth Team will face Seaford Rangers in Round 11 of the NPL State League at the Elite Systems Football Centre on Saturday afternoon.
After arriving back from Spain, the Young Reds had a quick turn around where they faced Western Strikers on Wednesday night and were defeated 2-1.
It what was a frustrating result, the boys will look towards Saturday’s game in the hope to regain some confidence back when they face Seaford Rangers who sit 13th on table.
Despite the back-to-back losses in the State League, Head Coach Michael Valkanis is happy with the effort of the boys.
“The boy’s effort has been there and they are working very hard,” said Valkains.
“It’s tough to break these teams down, and we are working on solutions to overcome the barrier of 10 players behind the ball every week.
“If you look at the stats, we are dominating most games, however, we know we need to take our chances early on, because that’s been our problem so far.
“But at the end of the day, our main focus is the style and the team’s performance, because if we continue playing this way, we will continue to win more games.”
