The Adelaide United Youth Team will take on Sturt Lions in Round 25 of NPL State League at the Elite Systems Football Centre on Saturday afternoon.
After securing four wins in a row, the Young Reds clinched a vital point against the Western Strikers last weekend, but now look to get back to winning ways.
Head Coach Michael Valkanis is proud of where the boys sit at this stage of the campaign.
“I am very happy with our players and their performances. We are playing with confidence and our attitude and efforts are where we as a team expect them to be,” said Valkanis.
“Last week we played well and dominated created enough chances to win the game but we didn’t.
“In the end with performances like these and focusing on our football and how we play is all that matters. With this mindset we will do well.”
The Young Reds currently sit equal top on the ladder and a win today could see them go three points clear.
