Adelaide United can confirm that the Club will host their Hyundai A-League Semi-Final at Coopers Stadium on Friday, 22 April 2016.
After clinching the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 Premiership on Saturday night, Adelaide United earned the right to host their Semi-Final, which will be played at Coopers Stadium on Friday, 22 April 2016.
The Reds will play the lowest placed winner from the Elimination Finals, after enjoying a week off.
Speaking on the announcement, United Head Coach, Guillermo Amor, said: “The team are very happy to be playing at Coopers Stadium because this is an advantage for us and we are excited for this game.
“We are sure the people of Adelaide will be excited for our game as well, and we will do everything we can to progress from this match.”
The Reds’ Chief Executive Officer, Grant Mayer, said: “Playing our Semi-Final at Coopers Stadium will be fantastic for the Club and our supporters.
“Now our fans need to flock to Coopers and make sure it’s packed, giving our boys all the support they can in what’s a massive game.”
