In a repeat of last year’s decider, Adelaide United will host Sydney FC in the FFA Cup Final 2018 with both clubs having the opportunity to become the first team to win the competition twice.
It promises to be a thrilling encounter with both sides showing superb form throughout this year’s FFA Cup, especially in the Semi-Finals.
Adelaide United, who have yet to concede a goal in this year’s competition, were too good for Bentleigh Greens SC winning 2-0 last Friday night, while Sydney FC defeated their cross town rivals, the Western Sydney Wanderers FC, 3-0 on Saturday night at Panthers Stadium.
This will be the second time the FFA Cup Final will be played at Coopers Stadium, with the Reds winning the inaugural competition at their home ground by beating Perth Glory in 2014.
More than 16,000 fans were on hand that night to provide a heaving atmosphere, with Sergio Cirio’s goal helping Adelaide to a 1-0 win.
Adelaide United and Sydney FC members will be able to pre-purchase their tickets from 11am (ACDT) today until 5pm (ACDT) tomorrow (Wednesday 10 October 2018). Members of the Football Family will be able to secure their tickets from 1pm (ACDT) Thursday 11 October until Tuesday 16 October with the general public on sale from 9am (ACDT) on Tuesday 16 October 2018.
