Tickets for Adelaide United-s match v Gold Coast United at Hindmarsh Stadium are on sale now through Ticketek.
This additional home match is courtesy of an arrangement between the cub and Gold Coast United, and therefore season tickets will NOT be valid for this match.
The arrangement, which has been agreed upon by both clubs and approved by Football Federation Australia, will see the scheduled Week 6 encounter between Adelaide United and Gold Coast United on Friday 11 November 2011 shifted from Skilled Park on the Gold Coast to Hindmarsh Stadium.
Adelaide United seized the opportunity to add a ninth Friday night clash at Hindmarsh Stadium this season after Gold Coast United expressed its intent and interest in moving one of its home matches.
Adelaide United has identified significant upsides in securing another game in Adelaide in the popular Friday night time slot. Moving the match to Hindmarsh Stadium is of benefit in terms of home ground advantage, less travel for the players, and of course giving Reds fans another chance to see the team play at home.
However, this match comes at a significant financial cost to the club to enable for it to proceed. As such, the one-off stand alone game falls outside of the 13 home matches that Adelaide United season ticket holders get to attend as part of their package. To help compensate for this, the club is providing all 2011/12 Season Ticket Holders with a special offer for this match.
Season Ticket holders must call Ticketek on 132 849 or visit a Ticketek outlet in order to take advantage of this offer. Online sales will NOT be available for this special offer.
Season Ticket holders are required to quote their season ticket number and seat number (located on the back of their season ticket) at the time of purchase.
