Coopers (Hindmarsh) Stadium is the home of football in South Australia and of the Adelaide United FC. The stadium is Australia’s only purpose built football stadium, and is just 5 minutes from the centre of Adelaide.Coopers Stadium received a major redevelopment that was completed in 2000 and seats 15,500 spectators.With a playing surface and facilities exceeding international standards, the stadium hosted rounds of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Football Tournament, the 2004 Oceania Nations Cup and the 2nd leg of the 2008 AFC Champions League Final.

Car Parking
The most convenient place to park when visiting Coopers Stadium is at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre which is located approximately 300m from the Stadium. The cost is $4 for attendees of Coopers Stadium Football events and there are more than 1,400 spaces available (Car park closes strictly 90 minutes after the conclusion of Coopers Stadium events and additional parking fees are applicable thereafter). Disabled parking is available on Holden Street.

Note that car parking may not be available to Coopers Stadium attendees when a major concert is being staged at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and additional parking fees apply. Visit the Adelaide Entertainment Centre website to check event schedules.

The Adelaide Entertainment Centre is accessible from Port Road, Mary Street, Manton Street, and Adam Street.

Tram
The Tram is the cheapest and most convenient way to travel to and from Coopers Stadium from the City. Tram services between the City and the Coopers Stadium precinct are free of charge and services operate with a good level of frequency. The tram station located closest to Coopers Stadium is situated in front of the Adelaide Entertainment Centre which is approximately a 300m walk to the Stadium. Click here for details on tram timetables.

Taxis
The Taxi Rank is located at the corner of Manton Street and Hindmarsh Place adjacent to the Eastern Stand/General Public entry to Coopers Stadium.

Bicycle
Bicycle parking rails are located at the Eastern Stand/General Public entry to Coopers Stadium.

Access

Access to Coopers Stadium is through entrances on Holden Street and Manton Street. Members entry is located at the Holden Street entrance of the stadium.

Facilities and Services

Toilets
Toilets are located under all grandstands throughout the stadium and on all levels in the West Grandstand.

Smoking
Coopers stadium is a non smoking venue and smoking is prohibited within the venue. A passout system is used at the stadium for people wishing to smoke outside of stadium.

First Aid
St Johns Ambulance attends events at the stadium. First aid facilities are located under the South Grandstand during events.

ATM facilities
ATM facilities are located under the east and west grandstands.

Lifts
Lifts are located in the east and west grandstands.
The east grandstand lift provides access the north, south and east grandstands. The west grandstand lift provides access to all five floors.

Wheelchair and Mobility Restricted Seating
Wheelchair and mobility restricted seating with adjoining escort seating is available in all grandstands. Lift access is available to all allocated seats.

Merchandise
Adelaide United Merchandise is available from the east and west sides of the ground on their home game matches.

Food and Beverage facilities
Food and beverage outlets are located under all grandstands of the stadium with larger food courts in the west and east. An additional three function rooms with bars are located in the west grandstand.

Upon entry to Coopers Stadium for Adelaide United FC home games, members and ticket holders agree to abide by the conditions of entry as set by the Office for Recreation and Sport.

Adelaide United FC shall not be liable to members/ticket holders for any matters arising as a result of the implementation of any such policies.
