Santa Teresa excels in outdoor education

During the final week of October, the first Deadly Adventures program targeting youth from Santa Teresa was held, with four young people who had displayed low levels of engagement with education taking part.

With support from the Santa Teresa school and Santa Teresa Night Patrol, this program was very successful at engaging these young people in an Outdoor Education experience, and communicating the importance of re-engaging with education.

MacYouth will continue to provide follow up support for these young people to ensure that the lessons learned from the program transfer back to their school setting.

The Santa Teresa Night Patrol did a great job in their support of this program to deliver better educational outcomes for young people.
