Adelaide United is excited to confirm the re-signings of Georgia Campagnale, Emily Condon, and Emily Hodgson ahead of the Westfield W-League 2017/18 season.

The trio all return to the Club putting pen-to-paper on one-year contracts and bolstering Ivan Karlović’s squad in the process.

Campagnale has accumulated 25 appearances for United since making her debut in 2014.

The versatile footballer, who can operate in midfield or as a defender, played in every minute of every match in the Westfield W-League season last year, and spent the off-season playing for Adelaide City in the Playstation4 Women’s National Premier League, where she was instrumental in the team winning their Grand Final.

Condon, who has represented the Young Matildas previously, first joined the Reds for the 2013/14 campaign and has gone to amass 29 games scoring five goals.

Meanwhile, Hodgson returns to Adelaide after featuring in all 12 matches last year in her maiden season with the Club and recently returned from a training camp with the Young Matildas.

Head Coach Karlović was delighted to have secured the signatures of all three players and said the foundations are beginning to take shape for a promising season.

“We’re thrilled that Emily, Georgia, and Emily have re-signed with the Club,” he said.

“They’re all quality players and will offer versatility and consistency as well as improving the team’s depth.

“These factors are important in order to be competitive and challenge for a top four spot.

“The squad is coming together nicely as we look to achieve one of our main objectives, which is making finals for the first time in the Club’s history.”
