Ahead of Adelaide United’s away clash with Central Coast Mariners on Thursday night, Opta has provided the key statistics for the match.

Adelaide have prevailed in five of their previous seven games against the Mariners. They have also clinched all three points in their past two visits to Gosford, winning both of those meetings 3-2.

Remarkably, this fixture in the league has not seen a draw in 21 matches, dating all the way back to August 2010.

The Reds have fired 52 shots from outside the 18-yard box this campaign and 22 more than their nearest opponent.

In his first league start of the season, Ryan Kitto finished with an 80% passing rate, delivered four crosses and assisted Nikola Mileusnic’s opener against Newcastle Jets last time out.

Reds Captain, Isaías, has completed a competition high 65 passes into the final third from the opening six matches and in the loss to the Jets won 11 of his 17 duels as well as make six clearances.

Ben Garuccio leads the South Australian outfit in crosses attempted (34), dribbles attempted (14) and interceptions (24).

Goalkeeper, Paul Izzo, again enjoyed a solid outing between the sticks, producing five saves which included two crucial stops in the first-half.

Adelaide United will face Central Coast Mariners in Round 7 of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 season on Thursday, 16 November at Central Coast Stadium. Kick-off is at 7.20pm ACDT.
