Originally this fixture was scheduled to be played at Coopers Stadium, however following the unavailability of nib Stadium in Round 1, the venue was switched meaning to Adelaide meaning the Reds begin a run of three away games in Perth on Saturday.
Out of the team from last Saturday-s game against the Jets are the suspended Nigel Boogaard and Michael Zullo, who is in camp with the Socceroos ahead of their friendly against Costa Rica on Tuesday.
Zullo-s absence means fellow let back Cassio is likely to start after playing 26 minutes after coming off the bench against the Jets in his first game back from a quad injury. Cameron Watson is another who is unavailable after he was red carded playing for the Reds- Youth Team on Sunday, however Antony Golec, Jacob Melling, Jake Barker-Daish and Jodran Elsey have all been included in an extended squad that will be trimmed before the travelling party departs for Perth on Friday afternoon.
Coach Josep Gombau is still contemplating who he will use to partner Jon McKain in the centre of defence in place of Boogaard.
For the Glory, all of the talk has been around the arrival of marquee signing William Gallas, the former French international and Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea defender named in the squad and expected to make his Hyundai A-League debut in front of the Perth faithful against the Reds.
