Isaias says Adelaide United will look to seek redemption as they face the Western Sydney Wanderers at Pirtek Stadium on Saturday night, focussed on attaining the crucial three points.

The Reds’ 14 game undefeated streak came to an end last round, following a 1-0 loss to Melbourne City, but their game-by-game philosophy has not been disrupted despite the loss, their focus swiftly switched to their next opponents.

With United currently on a run of five straight wins away from home, the Reds can take further confidence with them to Sydney’s west. Isaias and his teammates can also be buoyant considering a win over the Wanderers will see Adelaide jump their hosts on the Hyundai A-League table.

And the Spaniard has stated that Saturday night’s blockbuster clash in Wanderland will be treated as a final, insisting the three points are of far higher importance than previously.

“Like everyone can imagine, it is a massive game for us and it is important that we get the three points,” Isaias said. “The same as every game, we are solely focused on it, and this week is no different.

“This game is like a final for us, and we will be playing like it is one.

“We have moved on and learnt from the last game against Melbourne City where we lost, and it has made us more determined to focus on this next game

“We have prepared very well for tomorrow night and have had good sessions with Guillermo (Amor).

“We are ready, and we are still full of confidence because we are still a strong team.”

Isaias’ Head Coach, Amor, reiterated the midfielder’s outlook on the upcoming match, saying the Reds have prepared as well as possible for the game and will not be wanting anything less than a win.

“We’ve prepared for this game well and we’re familiar with how Western Sydney play, having played them twice already this season,” Amor explained.

“They’re a good team and they’re in a good position, like us, so it’ll be a very interesting game.

“We are going to play them with a strong mentality and we are confident that we can leave with the points that we need, but of course we are going there to win.”

Adelaide United will face Western Sydney Wanderers in Round 24 of the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 season on Saturday, 19 March at Pirtek Stadium. Kick-off is at 7.00pm ACDT.
