In the head-to-head match-up, historically little separates the two sides with Adelaide and Brisbane both notching 14 wins, leaving nine draws in 37 Hyundai A-League meetings.

However, the Reds are unbeaten in their last three matches against Brisbane (W2, D1) including victories both at home and on the road.

Among visiting teams, Adelaide have scored the second most goals at Suncorp Stadium with an impressive 21 strikes. The Reds’ most recent trip to play the Roar saw United run rampant, with a 4-1 triumph in January 2016.

The Roar have recorded four consecutive 1-1 draws and only twice in Hyundai A-League history has a team been without a win or loss for a longer period (Wellington Phoenix six games in September and October 2009; Melbourne Victory five games in August and September 2007).

Reds forward Henrique returns to face his former team for the first time since leaving Queensland for Malaysia. The Brazilian-born Australian citizen returns to Suncrop after netting his first brace since scoring a hat-trick in November 2014.

Adelaide United will face Brisbane Roar in Round 10 of the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season on Sunday, 11 December at Suncorp Stadium. Kick-off is at 4.30pm ACDT.
