Ahead of Adelaide United’s season opener at Wellington Phoenix, Opta has provided the key statistics for the clash.
The Reds are unbeaten in their five previous matches against the New Zealand outfit, recording three wins and two draws and outscoring their opponents 11-2.
Adelaide have also impressively kept four clean sheets during that five-match stretch.
The South Australian outfit will also be looking for a first win on the opening round of the season for the first time since 2014.

The clash with the Phoenix will be Head Coach, Marco Kurz’s inaugural Hyundai A-League match in charge of the Club, following his arrival over the off-season.
United have failed to score a goal in the first half of a game played away from home in their last 10 matches and will be out to change that on Sunday.
Reds defender, Ben Garuccio led the team in interceptions last season with 82.
Newly appointed Adelaide Captain, Isaías, attempted 682 passes in the opposition half during the 2016/17 campaign – the highest of any player in the team.
Adelaide United will face Wellington Phoenix in Round 1 of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 season on Sunday, 8 October at Westpac Stadium. Kick-off is at 2.30pm ACDT.
