Reds sign second Argentine

Adelaide United FC has added a second Argentinean to its list after signing exciting forward Jeronimo Morales Neumann, who has agreed to terms with the club pending a successful medical clearance.

The Adelaide United Football Club is pleased to announce another addition to the squad in exciting 26 year old Argentine forward Jeronimo Morales Neumann, who has agreed to terms with the club pending a successful medical clearance.

Neumann who last season played in the Argentine second division with Independiente Rivadavia Mendoza is a product of the famed Argentine first Division club River Plate and has also played at Estudiantes alongside the Reds other Argentine import Marcelo Carrusca.

Reds Coach John Kosmina expects Jeronimo to add an extra dimension to the Reds attack, “Jeronimo has played over 100 senior games in Argentina with some very good clubs and has also had experience abroad. He is a versatile forward who has a bit of pace and is a good finisher. He will add some quality to what is a very competitive and balanced squad” said Kosmina.

Neumann is expected to arrive in Adelaide next week and provided he passes his medical will join the Reds initially on a one season term for the 2012/13 Hyundai A-League season.
