Adelaide United is pleased to announce Kahlia Hogg has signed with the Club for the Westfield W-League 2020/21 season.

Hogg, 27, has spent the past two seasons with the Reds, playing nine matches in total.

The midfielder, who can feature as a centre-back, has also been on the books of Canberra United and Western Sydney Wanderers.

Speaking on putting pen-to-paper with the Club, Hogg said: “I’m incredibly excited, I think it’s been a long year’s work of recovery from injury and rehab for me personally.

“So just having the confidence from Ivan (Karlović) and Adrian (Stenta) and the girls to come back and give back to the Club and repay that confidence and have a good season is important for me.

“As a team I really do think that we’re in contention to make the playoffs this year.

“The majority of the group has been together for a while now, so I’m really looking forward to the season.”

Adelaide United’s Westfield W-League Head Coach, Adrian Stenta, said: “Kahlia is a player with a lot of experience, so it was important to have her on board for the new season.

“She is a strong leader and I’m confident she can positively impact our performances this season.”

Adelaide United’s Head of Women’s Football, Ivan Karlović, said: “In her two years with the Club, Kahlia has proven to be a solid player and has showed great leadership qualities on and off the park.

“We’re very happy to add Kahlia to the squad, as her experience in the W-League compliments our squad nicely.”
