Adelaide United is pleased to announce Emily Condon, Dylan Holmes, and Isabel Hodgson have all re-signed with the Club for the upcoming Westfield W-League season.

Condon ranks third on the Reds’ all-time appearances list with 60 matches to her name, while scoring eight goals since her debut during the 2013/14 campaign.

The 22-year-old, who can feature in midfield or on the wing, spent the offseason with local Women’s National Premier League (WNPL) outfit, Salisbury Inter.

After penning a one-year extension, Condon said: “I’m very happy to re-sign with the Reds.

“Our team has been getting stronger every year and it’s exciting to have Adrian leading us into the new season.

“I really want to build on the season I had last year and I think, as a collective, we should be confident ahead of the 2020/21 season.”

Adelaide United’s Westfield W-League Head Coach, Adrian Stenta, said: “Emily’s one of the most experienced players in the team.

“Her adaptability in being able to be deployed in multiple positions means it provides us with more options from a tactical standpoint.”

Holmes featured in all 12 Westfield W-League games for the second straight year last season and was a mainstay in the midfield.

Holmes, who has accumulated 31 appearances for Adelaide, plied her trade with Adelaide City during the winter months and has netted 10 goals in 12 league games.

Speaking on re-signing with the Reds, Holmes, 23, said: “I’m so excited to re-sign with Adelaide United and I can’t wait for the season to start.

“We have a really great group of girls both on and off the field and I’m looking forward to playing for Adrian (Stenta) too.

“As a group, we really want to make finals this year, but, personally, I hope I can be as consistent with my performances as possible and do my absolute best for the group every week.”

Stenta praised the midfielder’s growth as a footballer since beginning her second stint with the Club in 2018.

“Dylan has been an integral player in the team for the last two seasons, featuring in every available match,” Stenta said.

“Her ability to retain possession and ignite attacks from midfield are just some her strongest attributes.”

Meanwhile, Isabel Hodgson, 24, returns for a second successive season and has amassed 33 matches, while scoring two goals across two separate stints with United.

The winger was at the Black and Whites during the local WNPL season, finding the back of the net on four occasions as they finished top of the table and collected the cup.

Following her decision to re-sign, Hodgson said: “It’s really exciting to have re-signed for this new season.

“I’m looking forward to another year with this group of girls and seeing how we can continue developing as a group because we’ve made a lot of positive strides forward in recent years.

“This season I want to play a lot of games and do my part for the team in achieving our goal of finally making finals.”

Stenta said: “Isabel has proved to be a useful option in the attacking third of the pitch and we’re delighted to have secured her signature.

“I look forward to seeing her develop and be even more productive from a goals and assists perspective.”

Adelaide United Head of Women’s Football, Ivan Karlović, added: “Emily, Dylan, and Isabel have worked incredibly hard during their offseason and I know how determined they’re to experience a successful W-League season.

“Their leadership and commitment to the Club is outstanding as we begin to retain the core of the squad which we have been establishing over the last few years as we build towards achieving finals football.”
