Adelaide United FC is pleased to announce it has secured the services of young striker Tomi Juric on a short term contract until the end of the current Hyundai A-League season.
Juric will arrive in Adelaide on Tuesday from Croatia, where he has been playing with 1st Division side NK Inter Zapresic.
Born in Sydney, the 21 year old was plying his trade in Croatia but has taken up the opportunity to return to his country of birth to suit up for the Reds.
Interim Reds Coach Michael Valkanis is excited about adding the 189cm marksman to his squad and is confident he will not long to acclimatise.
“I think it-s a great opportunity to bring in a very good young player who has been playing at a high level in Croatia,” Valkanis said.
“Being short at the top of the end of the park after losing Sergio van Dijk to Indonesia, it-s good to have anther option in attack. He-s still only young but he-s got great potential and is a player who I-m sure will help us in our endeavours to win some silverware this season.”
