The player worn Remembrance jerseys for Adelaide United’s clash against Newcastle Jets on Saturday will be signed and auctioned.
From tomorrow, bids can be placed on each of the signed player shirts from every member of the 2017/18 squad through the Club’s online auction site. Register now so you can make a bid.
The shirt features the Poppy in the centre of the chest, along with a tribute to our fallen heroes on the body.
A silhouette of the HMAS Adelaide is embellished under the collar with the date of the match, honouring the men and service women of the ship named after our city, while an excerpt from the Ode of Remembrance is printed on the back of the shirt.
The commemorative shirts are also available for fans to purchase now through the club’s online store, and from the AUFC Club Store from Friday.
In addition, the jerseys will be sold at this weekend’s Westfield W-League game against Perth Glory at Marden Sports Complex on Friday and at Coopers Stadium on Saturday when the Reds take on Newcastle Jets.
