Adelaide United will take on local side Adelaide City in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday 1 October.
Both teams have progressed into the quarterfinals of the Westfield FFA Cup and will now go head-to-head for the first time in a pre-season friendly.
This Wednesday night’s game will be the last game for the Reds before they commence their Hyundai A-League 2014/15 campaign against Brisbane Roar on Sunday 12 October.
The match will also give Adelaide City some valuable game-time in the lead up to their Westfield FFA Cup quarterfinal encounter against VPL side Bentleigh Greens.
Fans of both clubs can see the players in action at the Marden Sports Complex for free. Gates will open at 6:00pm, with a 7:00pm kick-off.
