Adelaide United Women is delighted to announce Dylan Holmes has joined the Club for the forthcoming Westfield W-League 2018/19 season.
Holmes arrives on a one-year contract and strengthens Ivan Karlović’s squad ahead of the new campaign.
Holmes returns to United following two impressive years in the local Women’s National Premier League (WNPL) with Adelaide City.
The holding midfielder played 21 matches and scored seven goals this year and was an integral member in the Black and Whites’ team that secured back-to-back Championships in 2017 and 2018.
The 21-year-old previously amassed seven appearances with the Reds in her first experience at the Westfield W-League level back in 2014.
Head Coach, Ivan Karlović, welcomed the addition of Holmes, saying: “Dylan has proven she is a quality footballer in the WNPL over the last few seasons.
“Her contributions to Adelaide City have been impressive and she has developed into someone with many strong attributes.
“She’s an intelligent player who can read the game well, but can also push forward and contribute by putting the ball in the back of the net.
“Obviously Dylan was part of our Club previously and has earned another opportunity to show how much she has developed since then.”
