Bruce Djite and Jake Barker-Daish were special guests at the ‘Friendship Cup Tournament- which is held annually between the Adelaide Secondary School of English and St. Ignatius- College to celebrate Refugee Week.

The Friendship Cup has been played for 10 years and provides young refugee students, many of whom come from African countries, with a sense of belonging.

Adelaide United FC prides itself on being a multicultural club, evident in that there are 14 different nationalities represented in the Reds’ Hyundai A-League squad. The Club welcomes the vision to achieve an open, inclusive and multicultural society, where diversity is understood, valued and supported.
