Marco Kurz has named Taylor Regan in Adelaide United’s 18-man squad ahead of their clash with the Newcastle Jets on Saturday.
Adelaide’s backline has been bolstered by the return of Regan, who is in line to play his first match – against his former side – since suffering an ankle injury in Round 1.
However, Ben Garuccio and Daniel Adlung both miss the game through suspension following their dismissals against Melbourne Victory last week.
Johan Absalonsen remains ruled out with that thigh injury, but is not too far away from returning to first-team action.
Meanwhile, youngsters Jordan O’Doherty, Apostolos Stamatelopoulos and Kristin Konstandopoulos have all been promoted.
