Adelaide United is excited to announce a two-year charity partnership with Bedford ahead of the Hyundai A-League 2019/20 season.

Adelaide is thrilled to align ourselves with an organisation like Bedford that does so much in the community because as a Club we are also passionate about inclusion and further strengthening our ties with the South Australian community.

Bedford strives to change the lives of people living with disability by building capacity, independence, and well-being.

Bedford achieves this by providing a variety of NDIS support services, including employment opportunities and social participation activities across their 21 sites in South Australia and Victoria, empowering individuals to live happy lives.

The trusted business, that has been building its service offering for more than 65 years, also run a football program which gives people with disability the opportunity to be active and build life-long friendships.

Speaking about the new partnership, Adelaide United Chief Executive Officer, Nathan Kosmina, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Bedford for the next two years.

“Bedford provides fantastic support and employment opportunities for people living with disability.

“As a Club we look forward to partnering with an organisation that shares similar values and we’re excited to further raise Bedford’s profile through our community programs.”

Bedford Chief Executive, Maggie Dowling, said: “We’re so excited to partner with Adelaide United and create a new legion of Reds’ fans – especially at our Torrensville site where everyone has become soccer crazy following a recent visit by star players, Michael Marrone and Louis D’Arrigo.

“Sport is so important for people with disability and fosters a sense of inclusion and integration.

“I’m sure our clients will be so proud to walk onto the pitch at Coopers Stadium in December to showcase their skills and prove what can be achieved.”
