Adelaide United is thrilled to announce winger, Nikola Mileusnić, has signed a two-year contract extension with the Club.
Mileusnić’s new deal means he will remain in Adelaide until the end of the Hyundai A-League 2020/21 season.
The 25-year-old speedster joined the Reds in 2016 and since making his professional debut, Mileusnić has established himself as an integral forward for the Reds.
Blessed with searing pace, Mileusnić’s ability to maraud forward and dribble past his opponents is just one of his key attributes that has endeared himself to United fans.
The Adelaide local has scored 12 goals and registered nine assists in 71 matches, and became only the sixth player to net a hat-trick for the Club, which occurred in the 2017 FFA Cup.
Mileusnić, who was also a part of the side which won the 2018 FFA Cup back in October, said he was delighted to remain in his home town and is excited for what the future holds for the Club.
"I’m very excited to be extending my contract here at Adelaide United,” Mileusnić said. “This club gave me my opportunity in the A-League and it makes me proud to represent my hometown team.
“Playing in front of my family and friends each week is a dream come true for me, and knowing I’ll have the opportunity to continue doing that for another two seasons makes me very happy.
“There’s still a lot to play for this year and we’re all doing our best to bring more success to this great club.”
Mileusnić has featured in 16 league games this season, scoring four goals while providing a further three assists for his teammates.
