Throughout the season, Adelaide United and the Make A Wish Foundation forged a relationship to help make the wishes of seriously ill children come true.
Through raffles on match days, Make A Wish volunteers raised thousands of dollars for the charity thanks to Reds supporters who dug deep and supported the cause. The Red Army also got in on the act, shaking tins for Make A Wish at their pre-game meeting spot and raising over $600 in one day. Overall, Make A Wish raised over $6,000 through people-s generous donations.
On Saturday 11 May 2013, Make A Wish will hold their 2013 Adelaide Branch Gala Ball at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Themed a ‘Night at the Circus-, the event will comprise of a three course meal and beverages, with special guest MC Tony Pilkington and live entertainment from Motown Connection.
