Adelaide United is delighted to announce it has extended its partnership with Southern Cross Austereo for a further three years.
The media organisation, which owns and operates radio stations, Triple M and hit107, has elevated its status to become an official Platinum Partner of the Reds in a display of continued support of the Club.
Under the new partnership, both Triple M and hit107 will have an increased matchday presence and fan engagement with activations from both stations occurring around Coopers Stadium, enhancing the gameday experience for United supporters.
Regular on-air interviews with players and giveaways will also be a feature across both stations, broadening the Reds’ audience reach and promotion of matches in the process.
Adelaide United Head of Commercial, Adam Thomson, lauded the new agreement, stating it will enable the Club to strengthen its connection with the community and have access to a wider demographic.
“What was key for us throughout our discussions was ensuring, as a Club, we have the capacity to continue broadening our reach through both Triple M’s and hit107’s unique demographics,” Thomson said.
“The collaboration between Adelaide United and Southern Cross Austereo over the next three years will not only continue to see our male athletes profiled, but also see the spotlight turned onto women’s football and our W-League stars.
“The increased matchday presences by both Triple M and hit107 at our A-League and W-League matches will also see new life brought to both experiences for all our fans.
“We’re delighted to have extended our partnership with Southern Cross Austereo and we are looking forward to expanding our relationship through our shared passion for football and community programmes.”
Southern Cross Austereo Executive General Manager of SA/WA/NT, James Pedersen, said he was looking forward to strengthening its relationship further with the Club over the next three years.
“Adelaide United is an iconic Adelaide team celebrating 15 years of passion and success,” he said.
“All of us at Triple M and hit107 value our ongoing partnership with Adelaide United and look forward to building on that even further over the next 3 years.”
