Adelaide United Women’s Head Coach, Ivan Karlović, has named a strong side ahead of their opening game of the Westfield W-League 2017/18 season against Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday night.
The Reds almost have a clean bill of health to start the campaign with Karlović in charge of his first official match.
Emma Checker will captain the side after she returned to the Club following four years away with Melbourne Victory and Canberra United respectively.
New American recruits, Makenzy Doniak and Alyssa Mautz are in line to make their debuts for Adelaide, while fellow United States duo Katie Naughton and Danielle Colaprico return and are both anticipated to again play prominent roles.
Jenna McCormick is also expected to feature for the first time in Red since 2015 following stints with Canberra and in Iceland and Norway.
