Isaías’ remarkable Reds career by the numbers
After six fruitful years at Adelaide United, and serving as Captain for the final two, Isaías will be fondly remembered as arguably our greatest midfielder to don the Reds jersey.
The Spanish maestro signed for the Club in 2013 and we breakdown his incredible numbers he managed to compile.
Isaías played 181 games across all competitions for Adelaide, which currently ranks second on the Club’s all-time appearances list behind Eugene Galeković.
Of the 181 total appearances, 158 of them were in the Hyundai A-League.
The number of FFA Cup matches he featured in – an incumbent record for Adelaide.
The Spaniard netted 10 goals for the Reds which all arrived in the Hyundai A-League. In the 2015/16 and 2018/19 seasons, Isaías finished with four goals – impressive for someone not known for his scoring prowess. However, on the occasions he did find the net they were usually spectacular.
Isaías built the reputation as a dead ball specialist as his status in the league grew. He slotted five free-kicks – contributing to half of his overall goals tally.
The Spaniard registered 12 assists and five secondary assists across all competitions.

Isaías clinched four pieces of silverware with the Reds winning a historic Premiership and Championship double as well as two FFA Cups.
The midfielder was named Aurelio Vidmar Club Champion a Club-record four times, and bestowed the award the past three seasons. No player has won the prestigious accolade more than twice.

Isaías collected the Joe Marston Medal for his best on ground performance against the Western Sydney Wanderers in the 2016 Grand Final, punctuated by dispatching a world-class free-kick into the top corner.
In those 181 games, Isaías has been substituted a mere six times.
Isaías made just one substitute appearance in his Adelaide career, occurring against Melbourne City in March 2016 following a two-week injury lay-off.
