Isaías hailed his side’s complete performance as Adelaide United sealed a 3-0 win over Perth Glory at nib Stadium on Friday.

For the first time in the Hyundai A-League this season, the Reds scored three goals, making it their biggest victory to date under Marco Kurz.

Daniel Adlung opened the scoring with a clinically dispatched finish on 10 minutes. Nathan Konstandopoulos and substitute Johan Absalonsen ensured the three points would be returning to Adelaide with goals in the final 20 minutes of proceedings.

Isaías was thrilled with how his team acquitted themselves and intimated that is the standard they must consistently play to in order to build momentum.

“It’s very nice to win after the loss last week (against Brisbane Roar),” he told Fox Sports following being named the NAB Man of the Match Award.

“And I think this is the way that we need to play and I think it’s a very important win for us.”

Adelaide had to do without regular starters, Paul Izzo, Ben Garuccio and George Blackwood, who were away on international duty with the Olyroos.

Those vacancies meant opportunities for other fringe players in the squad with the likes of Daniel Margush stepping in and enjoying an assured outing.

And United’s depth would again be tested when Adlung had to come off before half-time, but they coped just fine as Jordan O’Doherty was impressive in just his third match of the campaign.

While it is never easy losing so many players, Isaías insisted he has the utmost confidence is every player at the Club.

“It’s always difficult when you miss three players,” the Captain continued.

“But I think we have a very good squad to play every week, and we did alright.”

The Spaniard was also delighted to see the team provisionally climb to third in the league standings with 20 points, before being amusingly interrupted by Ersan Gülüm.

Gülüm was seemingly mocking Isaías for collecting yet another inevitable accolade which is becoming almost routine.

Adelaide United will face Western Sydney Wanderers in Round 15 of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 season on Wednesday, 10 January at ANZ Stadium. Kick-off is at 7.20pm ACDT.
