Adelaide United is proud to announce Ruth Wallace as our first Central Australian Ambassador. Ruth is an Aboriginal women who is currently undertaking a teaching degree at Flinders University in Adelaide, when not studying Ruth also mentors Aboriginal youth in schools in the southern suburbs for the Department of Education.
Ruth is a very talented sportsperson having represented Australia (The Matilda-s) in underage football, she has also played regularly with the Lady Reds in the Australian Women-s League. Ruth is currently playing for West Adelaide and looking forward to becoming a member of the Lady Reds again next season.
Ruth will be spending a great deal of time in Central Australia ensuring our programs are successful and will be a great mentor to our program participants.
