Having won their past two matches Adelaide United welcome Melbourne City to Coopers Stadium on Saturday night.

The Reds will be determined to keep their miniature revival going after edging both Melbourne Victory and Western United 1-0 and 4-3 respectively.

Adelaide currently lie in fifth place and will be looking for their first league triumph against Erick Mombaerts’ team this season following a 2-1 away loss back in Round 2.

However, just a couple of days after that setback United got their revenge, returning serve with a rampant 4-0 rout in the FFA Cup Final 2019.

But City have since recovered from that heartbreaking loss and occupy second spot in the league standings.

They also come into the match four games unbeaten, most recently playing out a 0-0 draw with third-ranked Perth Glory.

New signing Stefan Mauk will not be available this week having landed in Adelaide late Thursday afternoon.

James Troisi (quadricep) and Al Hassan Toure (foot) are both ruled out, however, Norwegian striker, Kristian Opseth is back from injury.

As for the visitors, captain Scott Jamieson is absent, serving a one-week suspension and defender Richard Windbichler remains out with a hamstring complaint.
