Former England and Liverpool striker Emile Heskey looks likely to grace Coopers Stadium for the first time tomorrow night.

Heskey was among the Newcastle Jets travel party that arrived in Adelaide this afternoon signalling he is a strong chance to play some part in the match against the Reds.

It will be the first time the 35 year old has come to Adelaide since joining Newcastle at the beginning of the 2012/13 campaign after he missed the Jets- only trip to the city of churches in Round 25 of last season.

Injury has prevented Heskey from making an appearance so far in Season 9 and as the Jets look for their first win, he is sure to give them added fire power up front.

While Heskey is one of the league’s biggest draw cards, there are also a number of other familiar faces set to line up for the Jets, with former Reds goalkeeper Mark Birighitti and midfielder Nathan Burns back to face their old club.

Together with acknowledging Remembrance Day and ‘Poppy Appeal Week’, it is a game not to be missed. Tickets are available through Ticketek.
