Adelaide United goalkeeper, John Hall, has been called-up into the 23-man Olyroos squad for their upcoming 2016 AFC U-23 Championship in Doha.
The Reds’ John Hall has been included into the Olyroos 23-man squad through the release of fellow goalkeeper and former United teammate, Paul Izzo, through injury.
This follows Hall’s previous involvements with the Olyroos’ teams against Turkey and FYR Macedonia in September 2015 and is due reward for his strong showings for the Reds in the Hyundai A-League earlier this season.
The Olyroos have made one other change to their squad, whichbegins in Doha tomorrow night (Wednesday ACDT), with Western Sydney Wanderers forward, Jaushua Sotirio, replacing Chris Ikonomodis, who has was prevented from joining Australia’s selection by Italian club SS Lazio.
