Despite recent unfounded media speculation surrounding the future of defender Antony Golec, Adelaide United FC can confirm he will not be going to another Hyundai A-League club this season.
“Antony is and remains a valuable member of our A-League squad and is a required player,” Adelaide United General Manager – Football Operations, Michael Petrillo said.
Golec also stated his intention that he will continue with the Reds.
“I am a contracted player with Adelaide United until the end of the season and am committed to the club,” Golec said.
“While I admit it is difficult waiting in the wings for an opportunity, I plan on continuing to train hard, do my best and help the team climb up the ladder.”
