Fans urged to rally around Reds for ACL play-off

Adelaide United encourages all Reds fans to be at Hindmarsh this Thursday night for the club’s critical match against Persipura Jayapura.

Adelaide United FC has been forced into a cut throat ‘play-off’ match this Thursday night (16 February 2012) against Persipura Jayapura at Hindmarsh Stadium.

The Reds must take on the Indonesian club to retain their position in the 2012 AFC Champions League, a place the club was originally granted in the competition.

Others have passed comment on the process involved that has eventuated to this decision and the club appeals to all of its supporters to be at Hindmarsh on Thursday in a public display of unity in this critical one-off fixture.

Due to the time constraints, normal ticketing options unfortunately are not able to be carried out for the match. As such, there one single ticketing price of $15 will be released with kids aged 15 and under receiving FREE entry. The shortage of time has also meant it is impossible to organise any reserved seating for this clash.

Entry will be through Holden Street only and patrons will be able to access the Western Grandstand plus the Northern and Southern stands of the stadium.

The club encourages patrons to arrive early for the game and allow plenty of time for entry. Non selected members of the Reds- squad will be available to sign merchandise in front of the western grandstand.

Tickets are $15 for adults and concession, while kids 15 & under will receive FREE entry. Tickets will go on sale from 9am tomorrow (Tuesday 14 February 2012) through Ticketek (call 132 849, online at www.ticketek.com.au).
