Adelaide United will welcome Newcastle Jets in the FFA Cup 2019 Quarter Finals.
It will be the second meeting between the two sides in the tournament’s history, after Adelaide defeated the Jets 1-0 at Marden Sports Complex in the Round of 32 in 2017.
The Reds reached the last eight of the FFA Cup for a fifth time, thanks to a 3-2 win over Queensland National Premier League side Olympic FC in the Round of 16 last Wednesday.
Al Hassan Toure scored a clinical first-half brace before George Blackwood converted an 84th minute penalty to seal United’s progression.
