Into his sixth season in Australia, Cassio-s tally of Hyundai A-League matches currently stands at 99, meaning he will reach the milestone in front of the Adelaide United faithful at Hindmarsh if, as expected, he lines up against Wellington.
Only former captain Travis Dodd (137), current skipper Eugene Galekovic (117), Robert Cornthwaite (103) and Lucas Pantelis (101) have made more Hyundai A-League appearances for the club, while defender Iain Fyfe is another in the Hyundai A-League-s 100 club, although 88 of his games have been for Sydney FC.
A dual Adelaide United Club Champion, Cassio made 17 appearances in his first season, his debut Hyundai A-League goal coming against Melbourne Victory on October 31, 2008.
Cassio will be available for interview at 11.35am tomorrow (Friday 25 October 2012) after the squad-s training session at Hindmarsh Stadium.
