Adelaide United FC continues to enhance its playing roster for next season with Gold Coast United midfielder Zenon Caravella to join the Reds at the conclusion of the current Hyundai A-League campaign.
The attacking midfielder has signed to a two year deal with the Reds starting from next season, his acquisition certain to benefit Adelaide United-s creativity and potency in the front half of the pitch.
“Zenon is a good player and we-re happy that he will join us from next season,” Reds Head Coach Rini Coolen said.
“I have seen him playing in the A-League this season and also know him from when he played in Holland, so I-m looking forward to working with him.”
Having played in the inaugural Hyundai A-League season with the now defunct New Zealand Knights, Caravella then spent two seasons with Dutch side FC Ominworld, where Coolen first saw him in action.
The 27 year old Queenslander then returned to Australia where he joined Gold Coast United-s squad, making 24 appearances in the club-s inaugural season.
